 | Hotel Ciudad del Cine is a tourist complex in Malaga's Mountain range. 2.5 km from the village of Coin and 20 km from Marbella and Malaga airport and close to several golf courses. Nestling amongst pinewoods in a protected area, the hotel is located in a natural paradise.This is a complex of white villas simulating a typical Andalucian town, built by a British film company as set and at the same time lodging quarters, for the cast of a TV series. (El Dorado) Apparently the series did not hit off well enough and they decided to abandon the project. Then, local government took over the property and later, leased it to a Spanish investment group who converted it into a hotel. All the villas are very comfortable, they are spacious, well equipped, nicely decorated and each one has a fire place.
